Anker started to manufacture their budget portable Bluetooth speaker with really good features. In this post let's talk about their 2 budget Bluetooth speaker. Which one you should get and is it worth the upgrade?
This device is very lightweight and it can provide really good sound compared to its price. It can get pretty loud and it is pretty good for indoor usage. It cost around $27.99. The speaker comes with varieties of colors (Black/Blue/Red). The battery seems fine and it lasts for a longer period.
Let's talk about cons- This speaker is not IPX7 water resistance and it doesn't have "Bassup Technology" which other Anker speaker supports.

This device is the upgraded version of Anker Soundcore. This means it has pretty much everything soundcore 1 has but they added some extra features and increased the durability. Of course, it is a little bit pricier than soundcore. It cost around $38.96. This speaker is IPX7 water resistance and it has "Bassup Technology" which other Anker speaker supports.
Let's talk about cons- It is a little bit heavier than soundcore 1 (Sorry, couldn't find too many cons).

My suggestion: Both speakers are good in their own way. The soundcore 1 is a basic level portable Bluetooth speaker with a very affordable price tag. The speaker is solid and durable. On the other hand, Soundcore 2 is also a good speaker with water resistance and good bass. Basically, soundcore 2 has everything soundcore 1 has but better. If you already own Soundcore 1 then I would recommend not to upgrade but if you are new then you should definitely go for the upgrade version which is Anker Soundcore 2.
