Streaming is so popular nowadays that every company started to make their own streaming device. Of course, that includes audio streaming devices. Apple, Google, Amazon have their own high-end audio streaming devices.
Echo Studio is a high-end smart audio streaming device that is made by Amazon. And no this isn't some kind of Bluetooth speaker. In fact, it doesn't work via Bluetooth pairing. It only uses your Wi-Fi. The most impressive thing about this speaker is the audio quality. Unlike Apple and google this speaker features 3D audio and Dolby audio. Which makes it pretty unique compared to the other brands.
The Studio has everything like a standard echo device. There is a big ring light that shows different colors based on what it is doing. Just like the other amazon device, it will turn blue when you say any command to Alexa. It will turn reddish-orange color if you press the mute Alexa button (For those who are concerned about privacy). You can pretty much do anything you would do in a normal echo. It is basically an updated version of a standard echo.
Amazon Echo studio is made for music. It brings new features to the audio industry. There are 5 separate speakers inside the device. These speakers increase the 360° sound experience and it allows the speaker to do 3D audio. The bass is better than others but not super high-end. The device comes with adaptive volume control. The adaptive volume works with the built-in microphone that listens and adjusts the volume depending on the room you are in. Now, this speaker isn't just for that purpose. The main purpose people will buy it because of its high-quality audio which is Dolby Atmos audio system. But to get the most out of this speaker, you need to have an amazon music HD subscription. There are lots of good HD quality music but there isn't lots of 3D music track. But Amazon will eventually add more 3D music to its music streaming platform. It will work with your Fire TV or Fire Stick 4k.
Now, remember you can use other audio streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, or whatever you are using right now but in order to get all the features this speaker provides, you need to have an Amazon Music HD subscription. The speaker supports 2 types of audio format. One is Dolby Atmos and the other one is Sony's 360 reality audio. Dolby Atmos provides a really good sound experience while watching movies. You might face a change in audio quality because the device always tries to improve the music quality. So if you listen to a song now and play it on Echo Studio then it might sound different but not in a bad way. We can't complain too much about the sound quality of this device. I would say it sounds better than Apple's HomePod and Google's Home Max. If you are a bass lover then there are better speakers in the market but might cost a lot more than Echo Studio.
Setup Process
Connect the device to the power source. Then, download the Alexa app from the apple store or play store. Open the Alexa app and login with your Amazon account. Now, tap on the menu option > then "Add Device". Then click on Amazon Echo. Scroll down and look for "Echo Studio". Tap on "Echo Studio". You will see an orange light spinning around and when the mobile show the device in the search display just tap on it. Now, tap on your wifi network and complete the setup.
Why Should You Buy it?
Well, if you are already a part of Amazon's ecosystem and already use fire TV or TV stick 4K then it is a good purchase. If you are looking to buy a really good sound system for your TV then it is a better choice than other brands. You can use 2 speakers to make a complete stereo system. It provides way better sound quality than your traditional smart or normal TV. You will get what you pay for.

The Amazon Echo Studio is overall a good audio device. The HomePod and Home Max cost more than this device but offer fewer features. On the other hand, Echo Studio will provide what you pay for. It is an amazing device for the price. It is a smart speaker that can be used as a home theater but you will probably use it to listen to music.
